Boat Trip through Zwolle

From the water the experience of Hanzecity Zwolle is completely different! From one of our boats, you can let the beautiful historical city work its magic on you. We offer trips through the canals of Zwolle and the “Overijssel Vecht”. Enjoy the peace and quiet on the water, the broad skyline, the architecture and the abundance of nature. From Zwolle it’s possible to make boat trips headed to Dalfsen, Ommen, Hasselt and to the nature reserve “The Wieden”.

Batavia Yard is a shipyard with extraordinary ambitions, reconstructing ships from the Golden Age that were important to the Netherlands’ maritime history. This heritage was demolished at the time because of its limited lifespan, or has sunk to the bottom of the sea. In April 1995, the Batavia, which is the most authentic reconstruction of a 17th-century VOC ship ever made, was launched after ten years in the making.
